I’m the drummer in the band, but also…I only bought a computer for MIDI capabilities, to assist in the notation of music I perform. Somehow along the way I got a PPP dial-up connection to the Internet, installed ICQ (UIN: 182290), then went to work for the then-failing ISP I was a subscriber of. 15 years later my career in music has been replaced with a career in a technology that did not exist at that time, and oddly enough, the computer I purchased then is worthless, and the electronic drum set it was plugged into is still only about the same price.
Photography is a close second to music; my first camera was an Olympus OM10 which shot Tri-X Pan exclusively. I learned how to develop in the darkroom (hypo, developer, fixer, stop bath….et al), & use my own enlarger to make prints when I was 7; so I’ve had some time to practice. I am told I’ve have excellent composition.
